Profiles of a Welcoming and Inclusive Community

Profiles of a Welcoming and Inclusive Community recognizes and honours individuals who have generously dedicated their knowledge, time and energy to programs, events, and services that support newcomers to feel welcome and included.

They have all contributed to increasing the community’s awareness and understanding of the contributions and needs of newcomers. 

In a multitude of ways, they have made Burnaby and New Westminster better able to embrace, celebrate, value and appreciate cultural diversity. 

Profiles of a Welcoming and Inclusive Community was created by the Burnaby Intercultural Planning Table as an element of the BC Welcoming and Inclusive Communities and Workplaces Program.
